IFMA has been hard at work developing the New Go-to-Market model, an interactive online resource that easily identifies leading and emerging distribution channels. The online tool will offer insights into factors that influence an Operators use of distribution channels—no matter what market segment they are in—to help manufacturers reach their Operator customers and advance their strategies.
The tool is part of IFMA’s Food Future 2025 program, an initiative that offers in-depth insights to factors that influence the future of the foodservice industry. The New Go-to-Market model is grounded in research conducted with 1,200 independent Operators and developed from insights into Operator purchase behaviors, product selection, information needs and gaps, technology utilized, and other sourcing motivations.
