
The IFMA Education Foundation has raised and awarded nearly 4 million dollars since it was established. In that time, 100% of donated proceeds have gone to fund foodservice industry scholarships and stipends. The Foundation has announced that they will award $238,000 in 2019 for stipends and scholarships.
The Education Foundation awards $5,000 scholarships toward the completion of educational requirements of qualified culinary, marketing, sales, supply chain and food science students.
The International Gold & Silver Plate Society, a council of the foundation, awards $1,000 internship stipends to students demonstrating a firm commitment to a career in foodservice (culinary/hospitality). The Society is comprised of past Gold and Silver Plate winners.
