CHICAGO, November 11, 2025 — Food broker Mueller Yurgae Associates (MYA) has agreed to acquire the Midwestern sales agency Alliance Foods for an undisclosed amount.

The deal is expected to close by the end of the month.

MYA stressed in announcing the transaction that all of Alliance’s employees will be retained. That includes Alliance CEO Sal Stazzone, who’ll be moved into a new leadership post in the surviving company, according to the buyer.

Alliance is owned by its employees.

The company’s St. Louis headquarters will be converted into a new satellite office for MYA, which is based in.

MYA said the acquisition will broaden its market in terms of both geography and product line. Most of its current customers are supermarket and convenience-store chains.
