CHICAGO, November 21, 2025 —Aramark has added a new service for senior living facilities that want a foodservice contractor’s help with functions like procurement without the complete operational overhaul that comes with bringing in outside management.
Under the new Consultative Services option, Aramark provides the sort of strategies and tactics that it would under a traditional management contract but leaves the execution to the client facilities. The announcement of the option suggests the recommendations can be followed without significant capital or labor investments.
The assistance extends to recommending new menus, recipes, and wellness diet options, according to Aramark.
A key point of differentiation from other consulting options, according to the company, is the ability to combine the deep knowledge of Aramark’s senior living experts with suggestions from a new AI program that focuses on hospitality, called Hospitality IQ.
The scope of the recommendations can extend beyond dining rooms and their kitchens, to areas such as ground maintenance and residence-facility operations, Aramark says.
The new service is offered through SeniorLife+, the Aramark operation that provides full-fledged management contracts to the senior living sector.
Facilities fully managed by Aramark will also be able to use Consultative Services, Aramark notes.
The number of senior-living facilities within the U.S. will grow by 1.3% in 2026, according to Datassentials. Collectively, they are expected to spend $4.2 billion on foodservice supplies.
