Vision 2025 Drivers of Change

Members of IFMA's Foodservice Leadership Councils (FLCs) - 150 operators representing five important segments - worked collaboratively throughout 2022 to develop Vision 2025, a framework for strategically addressing change over the next few years. Although the segments have unique concerns, they identified several common needs to address ongoing challenges:  

  • Differentiated menus, 
  • Decreased complexity
  • Greater staff cross-utilization
  • Increased collaboration with suppliers
  • Increased communication and traceability in the supply chain
  • Expanded employee engagement based in DEI values.

The FLCs represent Elementary & Secondary Schools, Colleges & Universities, Business & Industry, Healthcare, and Restaurants.
