CHICAGO, AUG. 10, 2015—The International Foodservice Manufacturers Association (IFMA) announced today that the National Restaurant Association (NRA) will join the International Foodservice Distributors Association (IFDA) as co-hosts for IFMA's 53rd Annual Presidents Conference. The by-invitation-only forum is where leaders from the operator, manufacturer, distributor and allied partner communities meet to address the critical issues and opportunities facing the industry.

Gordon Food Service, Cheney Brothers and Shamrock Foods Company were each recognized with IFMA Distributor Awards in three unique categories at the IFMA Presidents Conference last November. Executives from all three companies said the value of receiving their respective award did more than build relationships with foodservice suppliers and validate their business models. In addition, it helped them recognize employees for all they do for the foodservice industry.
