IFMA’s First Ever OCM Training to Include Executive Speakers from Firehouse Subs

IFMA and The Partnering Group (TPG) are offering the very first of its Operator/Manufacturer Collaboration Model Training sessions to both manufacturers and regional/national chain operators this April. In addition to a curriculum filled with interactive workshops and case studies, two Firehouse Subs executives will share their experiences and expectations for supplier collaboration.

Joint Business Planning Definition and Best Practices Process Addressed During Second Committee Meeting

IFMA's Joint Business Planning Committee continued with its progress in developing a Best Practice in the area of supplier/operator Joint Business Planning at its second of three meetings Aug. 20. The Committee ratified a refined definition of what JBP is and how it will impact the industry. Additionally, it advanced a Best Practice Process that will enable professionals to bring JBP to market on a scalable basis.

Joint Business Planning Initiative Kicks Off

The International Foodservice Manufacturers Association (IFMA), with the resources of The Partnering Group (TPG), announces the launch of an industry-wide Joint Business Planning (JBP) initiative to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of foodservice operator and manufacturer collaboration.

Leading Foodservice Operator and Manufacturer Committee Members Begin Industrywide Joint Business Planning Initiative

A committee of leading foodservice operators and manufacturers launched a foodservice Joint Business Planning (JBP) initiative in north Suburban Chicago June 25. This was the first of three meetings to take place this year and officially began the creation process for Phase II of IFMA’s Operator/Manufacturer Collaboration Model (OCM) —an industrywide initiative that is being created in conjunction with management consulting firm The Partnering Group (TPG).
