Insight-Driven Go-to-Market Planning Best Practice between Manufacturers and Distributors – fueled by the Full Plate™ Category Management Process.
IFMA championed an industry wide, all-inclusive initiative to develop best practices in category management for foodservice. The initiative engaged 35 leading manufacturers, distributors, brokers, research/ insights providers and industry associations who collaborated together to develop an eight step process called Full Plate™. Training and Certification are available to the industry offering insights driven strategic planning with distributors.
IFMA's Foodservice Category Management Training and Certification Program, powered by TPG's Full Plate™, is now available to members and non-members alike. There are two training options available:
- Group Training: Run several times a year, participants sign up for training through IFMA and will join with other individuals to learn the process, using group interaction and case studies to illustrate key concepts. Training is completed in one day and those involved will go through the certification process immediately following.
- On-site training: upon request companies can host the best practice process training inside their office. Training is tailored for the company based on category and market focus. Attendees can also complete the certification process upon completion of the training.
To date, more than 200 foodservice professionals have been trained in this process. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to grow your knowledge and expand your company's success!
- Individuals who wish to learn about category management in the foodservice space, including channel managers, category captains, marketing, sales, insights or market researchers, category specialists, trade managers, procurement, etc.
