The Foodservice Category Management Innovation & Activation Board, comprised of manufacturers, distributors and brokers, has defined what Category Management means in Foodservice. This initiative, co-chaired by IFMA and supported by The NPD Group, Datassential, IFDA, FSMA and the NRA, has also been working on the barriers to success and how to overcome those through alignment, information (insights), standard metrics and agreed outcomes.
