Two powerful schools of thought converged at IFMA's 2020 Strategic Issues Series (SIS) in October 2014, to address the significance of foodservice category business planning. SIS attendees learned about the similarities between the IFMA and TPG Full Plate™ best practice framework and Sysco processes, as both offer a step-by-step approach to building and executing category plans.

There is a growing focus in the foodservice industry on driving improved financial results through a more focused category approach and better collaboration between channel partners. IFMA & TPG’s New White Paper Addresses Application of Category Management Best Practices and Processes

The white paper, titled “Full Plate™, Applying Collaborative Planning Best Practice in Foodservice,” is provided by IFMA in conjunction with The Partnering Group (TPG).
