Nearly 12% of all foodservice incidences occur while the consumer is Running Errands, making this one of the most common occasions overall. Spending tends to be more reserved, however, with an average amount of just $6.77.

While Running Errands, consumers are more likely to seek out handheld foods, and also tend to have a greater interest in classic American dishes.
