What do you enjoy most about your career in foodservice?
I enjoy interacting daily with our team members and guests.
Tell us about your biggest career accomplishment.
I'm grateful we have been able to provide excellent career opportunities for our team members as a result of pursuing a successful diversification strategy.
How is your segment making a difference for the foodservice industry?
We are all about providing quality food at affordable prices while using fresh ingredients with an emphasis on local purchasing. Low employee turnover and high food service contract retention has helped us to achieve greater consistency and guest satisfaction.
What advice do you have for someone new to the foodservice industry?
Work hard, have fun and bring a smile to work each day. Be a team player. When I was a young boy, I found the following quote on a chalkboard in my grandfather's attic: "There is no limit to the good you can do if you don't care who gets the credit." This message has been a guiding philosophy in my life, both professionally and personally.
